On October 17, 2023, the All-Russian Forum «International Integration and Careers in Russia» was held at Samara University, organized by Samara University and the Russian Society «Knowledge».
The Forum included a youth section dedicated to the interaction between Russian and foreign students. The focus was on the issue of adaptation of foreigners in student society according to the principle of Samara University and Kalmyk State University.
The president of the «Association of Foreign Students» in Elista, Kamila Niyazova, gave a lecture on the topic «Adaptation of Foreign Students» to the students. She spoke about her personal experience of moving from Uzbekistan and also shared tips for active inclusion in student life.
The section «World Youth Festival, how to become an entrepreneur and volunteer» was dedicated to the World Youth Forum, which will be held next year in Sochi. It is no secret that the heart and soul of the volunteer movement in Russia are students. Together with interested volunteers, foreigners communicate on issues of volunteer culture. Samara University graduate student Arseniy Usikyan noted:
“University is not only about studying, but also about opportunities platform”.
The Forum discussed employment opportunities for foreign citizens. As Dmitry Khilov emphasized, the high level of Russian education contributes to the training of highly qualified specialists in a wide variety of fields, which are in demand not only in Russia, but also abroad.
According to the scientific and expert community, holding such landmark conferences has a positive impact on the processes of ensuring interethnic harmony and harmonization of relations between representatives of different nations.
