Participants of the Youth History Club ‘Hello, Russia!’ at the Russian House in Paris took part in a unique teleconference-seminar ‘Samara and Paris: dialogue of cultures, facets of history’
The event took place immediately after the international educational action ‘Total Dictation’, which gathered several dozen participants in the Russian House of Science and Culture (RDNK).
During the teleconference, representatives of Samara University and the Tretyakov Gallery branch spoke about the rich historical and cultural ties between Samara and France, as well as the contribution of the city of Kuibyshev to the approaching victory in the Great Patriotic War.
At the end of the event a start was given to the preparation for the international action ‘Victory Dictant’, which will be held on 25 April.
