A meeting of the Primakov Centre’s SinoClub dedicated to the art of bonsai took place. On 12th of March, China held an official holiday – Tree Planting Day, which was established to encourage citizens to participate in the greening of the country and increase the area of forests. A regular meeting of the Primakov Centre’s IberAClub was held. This time we learnt the secret of the worldwide success of Latin American TV series. It turned out that exotic landscapes and Latin American passions are not the only thing that attracts viewers in other parts of the world. Thanks to an excursion into the history of Latin American telenovelas, we were able to identify some of the peculiarities of this genre. On the 20th of March 2025, the E.M. Primakov Centre hosted an exciting event from ISClub – Arabic Language Night! We were glad to see everyone who came to discover the beauty and richness of Arabic culture. In an atmosphere filled with oriental flavour, the participants got acquainted with the wonderful world of Arabic calligraphy. Mohamed Mawlya, a student of Samara University, helped us in this.
