On April 25, 2025, an exciting meeting of the ISClub conversation club took place at the Primakov Centre, dedicated to the topic “Arabic Language Dialects”!

The participants of the club embarked on a fascinating journey into the world of Arabic dialects, learning many new things about the diversity of this rich language.

Special thanks to our speaker, Samara University student Mohamed Mawla.

During the meeting, the following key issues were discussed:

  • The geographical distribution of major Arabic dialects, from the Maghreb to the Middle East.
  • Features of pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar of various dialects, which surprised the participants with their diversity.

The influence of dialects on the understanding of Classical Arabic and the ways in which they are interconnected.

The event was interesting for everyone who is passionate about the Arabic language and culture. The participants actively communicated, shared their knowledge, and asked questions, creating an atmosphere of mutual learning and inspiration.

We thank everyone who joined us! We are confident that this meeting helped you expand your knowledge of one of the most widely spoken languages in the world.
