On April 10, 2024, a meeting of the Turkish club dedicated to Turkish cinema was held at the Primakov Center. The participants of the event told about their serial preferences as well as their favorite actors. Students shared the emotions they felt while watching their favorite Turkish series, what details they noticed, what they liked and what they were repelled by.

The participants of the event learned a lot of interesting facts about seemingly long known and popular series. For example, we found out:

• why is the super-popular in Russia series “Knock on my door” so actively criticized in Turkey
• how did the series “Black Love” attract the attention of millions of viewers and why did it become the only Turkish series that received the prestigious Emmy Award in the nomination “Best Telenovela”
• what secrets are hidden behind the Turkish historical series “The Magnificent Century”, what is true and what is fiction of the scriptwriters

The audience was immersed in the atmosphere of cinematic art, where everyone could find something for themselves: new recommendations, facts about favorite actors, analysis of popular series.

The importance of the film industry in the modern world cannot be overestimated. The analysis of images and plots gave a lot of information for reflection. The event ended with an exchange of impressions, and its warm and friendly atmosphere gave unforgettable memories to all participants.
