As part of the opening of the exhibition ‘Development of Rocket Engineering in Russia’, master classes were held by leading specialists of military-industrial enterprises of the Samara region RSC Progress JSC and ODK-Kuznetsov PJSC.
Students of Samara University studying rocket and engine engineering took part in master classes on the following topics: ‘Test Centre for Rocket and Space Technology. New Technologies’ and “Design Engineer Profession Today”.
The sphere of a design engineer’s activity is vast: from household instrumentation to heavy industries, including mechanical engineering, high-tech developments, aerospace.
Progress does not stand still. Technology development is constantly required. Every day advanced methods are introduced, approaches to work are improved, new equipment is created. Behind all engineering successes there are always people – experts in their field. The speed and quality of performance depend on them. Their knowledge and experience are the basis of any success.
Students were able to discuss these and many other topics during the meeting with the specialists of the enterprises. After all, it is they who will soon become colleagues and work on the creation of new engines and rockets!
