On September 2, clubs of the E.M. Primakov Center took part in the Festival of Student Associations. Each club prepared an interesting program

IberAClub gave the participants of the festival an opportunity to test their knowledge of Brazilian and Spanish TV series by guessing them from slides: “Paper House”, “Slave Girl Isaura”, “Clone”, “Cruel Angel”, “Elite” were presented. Of course, Ibero-American culture is not limited to cinema, and to learn more about it, you can come to the club meetings.

During the event, the UNESCO Unitis Club, which is active in the fields of cultural heritage preservation, education and youth support, was introduced. Participants were able to answer questions on international topics, which facilitated in-depth discussions on critical global issues and strengthened cross-cultural cooperation.

ISClub also hosted an exciting interactive event! Freshmen, looking at the photos of foreign club members, tried to guess their native countries. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and friendly excitement!

Students were genuinely interested, realizing that by coming to EnglishClub they can not only make new acquaintances, but also communicate with native speakers. This is a great opportunity to improve their language skills and learn more about different cultures and traditions.

FranClub dedicated its story to the history of French cinema. Visitors of the festival learned interesting facts about the legends of Cinéma français, about why exactly France had a significant influence on the European cinema of the last century. In addition, the participants played a quiz on the knowledge of the masterpieces of classic French cinema and the biographies of its stars. As it turned out, French movies are very much loved in Samara!

SinoClub introduced the kids to traditional Chinese dishes. It was interesting to guess the true names of the treats by matching them with the images. The festival participants also discussed some habits of the Chinese, which we could not even suspect!

For a great immersion into the atmosphere of an unusual Asian country, come to the club.

DerKlub told the students about borrowings from the German language, which have long since taken root in Russian. German words can be recognized only by reading them, and to learn more about the culture and history of the country come to the club.

TurkishClub introduced the students to interesting facts about Turkey, and also held a quiz on the knowledge of Turkey. A sticker with the image of Turkish actor Kerem Bursin took the students’ special attention, which they received as a souvenir

The E.M. Primakov Center expresses its gratitude to everyone who visited our venues! We look forward to seeing you at our club meetings and other events!
