On February 20, 2024, a teleconference with Panamanian photographer Emir Lebedev took place at the IberAClub of the Primakov Centre.
Emir Lebedev is a photographer and director of Russian–Panamanian origin. With his exhibition “Window to Panama”, Emir opens the distant and amazing Panama to the Russian public.
Emir showed vivid and picturesque photographs. The most interesting photos were of people so different, beautiful, smiling in colorful local costumes, living, it would seem, in their usual realities, but for the Russian viewer it really is like a portal to a completely different, exotic world.
Also, the photographer pleased us with photos of the local fauna and flora. Landscapes with dense green rainforests look incredible.
Fascinated by the photos, the children asked the photographer questions with interest and learned about his work and life in his homeland. Emir also willingly expressed a desire to arrange a similar exhibition with Russian landscapes.
