The next DerKlub meeting dedicated to the history and culture of Germany was held.
The guests of “DerKlub” were students of the Faculty of Philology of Samara University, as well as the Samara Law Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
Everyone showed a keen interest in the topic of the meeting and took an active part in the collective creative work!
At the meeting, the guests of the club learned more about
- how the Holy Roman Empire came to be;
- who stood at the origins of its formation;
- what contradictions and conflicts the empire faced during its heyday;
- what led to the decline and disintegration of this great power.
In the program of the session there was also an unusual creative task – to act as Kurfürsten of the Holy Roman Empire!
For this purpose, the guests of the club formed teams, each of which came up with its own coat of arms, motto and a real electoral speech for presentation!
By secret ballot, Kaiser of the House of Orangenland was elected, who promised to provide the entire empire with the best oranges from his own domain!
We thank all the club guests and look forward to the next meeting!
Bis bald!
