Today, an exciting meeting of the Discussion Club dedicated to the topic “Artificial Intelligence: the pinnacle of progress or a threat to society?” took place at the Primakov Center. Participants engaged in a lively discussion on various aspects of AI usage!
The meeting touched upon ethical and safety issues, the impact on the labor market, as well as the potential applications in medicine and education. Participants learned about the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and its potential risks to society!
One of the key points was the discussion of two opposing positions on the topic. Some view artificial intelligence as the pinnacle of technological progress, capable of improving the quality of human life, while others fear its potential negative impact on society and the economy.
But the most crucial aspect of this event was the breaking down of barriers between different faculties. Students from various specialties were able to come together in a common dialogue, enriching each other with their perspectives. This highlights the importance of open exchange of ideas and opinions in forming a deep understanding of complex modern issues.
Special thanks to our wonderful experts – students from St. Petersburg State University, Alexander Zhiryakov and Roman Ivashkin, who truly enhanced the meeting by sharing their deep knowledge on the discussed topic!
The Discussion Club continues its work, inviting all interested individuals to join in discussions on current topics and broaden their horizons. We thank all participants for their active involvement and lively dialogue!
