The exhibition “Development of rocket engineering in Russia” dedicated to the outstanding engineer Sergey Korolev has opened in Samara. It will work in the first building of Samara University. This was reported in the university.

“Participants of the exhibition can see unique archive materials. Of particular interest are photos of Sergei Korolev with Yuri Gagarin and rare documents related to the work of the designer”, – told in the press service.

On the opening day the students took part in workshops from the rocket and space centre, as well as the enterprise of aircraft and space engine building. The students learnt about current technologies and the profession of a design engineer.

In addition, an open lecture was organised for the students by Denis Gurkov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, on the topic “Development of the aerospace industry of the Samara Region”. You can visit the exhibition from 21 to 28 of November at 151 Molodogvardeyskaya Street.
