The theme of the contest is “New directions of international cooperation of the Samara region at the regional level”.
The organizers of the competition: the External Relations Department of the Administration of the Governor of the Samara Region; the Regional Center for the Development of Public Diplomacy and International Relations named after Yevgeniy M. Primakov (Samara University).
On February 15, 2022, the winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded. The participants’ diplomas and prizes were awarded to the authors of nine works.
The first place was taken by a student of Samara University Alisa Brachunova. She chose the topic of international cooperation between the Samara region and the Swedish Veestra-Götaland region.
The second place was taken by Anastasia Tolstikova (Samara University) with a work on promising areas of cooperation between the Samara region and the Uusima region of Finland in the field of “green energy”.
Elizaveta Maslova, a student of Samara State University of Economics, took the third place with a reseach on cooperation between the Samara region and Greece.
All the winners, in addition to valuable prizes, had the possibility to get an internship in the Department of External Relations of the Administration of the Governor of the Samara Region and the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment of the Samara region.
In addition, the jury of the competition decided to separately encourage Yaroslava Kulyasova (Samara University) and also provide her with the possibility to practice in the Department of External Relations.
