Bonjour, les amis!
On December 21, in our FranClub, we celebrated the New Year! The event was hosted by Pere Noel and Fille de la neige. Our program started off with a memorable moment. Suddenly, the sounds of a trombone filled the room, and guests soon recognized the melody of the famous worldwide New Year song “Vive le vent d’hiver”.
During the event, the children talked about the New Year traditions in France and even revealed how the New Year is celebrated in different parts of the country.
Puis, we heard another famous melody played on violin and trombone – “O Christmas tree”.
Ensuite, the FranClub participants recited New Year’s poems in French.
Après cela, we held a quiz where our guests received wonderful gifts, which they could hang on their Christmas trees! The grand prize was won by Eizons Tchang, who shared his impressions of the holiday: “Thank you so much, it means a lot to me!”
Et enfin, we sang a New Year song and wished everyone a Happy New Year! Joyeux Noël, les amis! À l’année prochaine!!
