On October 31, 2024, the long-awaited meeting of the UNITIS discussion club took place, dedicated to the pressing topic of the rivalry between Trump and Harris: how will the 2024 elections shape the future of the USA and the world?

During the discussion, participants shared their views on how the outcome of the elections will impact both domestic and foreign policy in the United States. Possible scenarios were considered in the event of a victory for either Trump or Harris, along with their positions on key issues, as well as the elections’ influence on international relations and global economic processes.

Special thanks to our expert – Marina Andreyevna Chernykh, a candidate of political sciences and junior researcher at the Department of Domestic Political Studies at the Institute of the USA and Canada of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She provided a detailed analysis of the potential consequences of the elections for political and social stability both in the USA and beyond, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of the topic and discover new aspects of global politics!

The winners of the debates received commemorative prizes and new knowledge!

We look forward to seeing everyone at the next meetings of the UNITIS club for more engaging discussions!
