Samara Interregional Model of the United Nations 2025 is not only an exciting debate and search for compromises, but also a huge amount of work behind the scenes. And today we want to talk about those who make communication between delegates from different countries possible – about interpreters!
Working as an interpreter at the Samara Interregional Model of the United Nations is a real challenge:
- Instant translation: It is necessary to translate the speeches of the delegates promptly and accurately, without missing a single detail and preserving the emotional coloring.
- Specialized vocabulary: It is necessary to know the terminology of the United Nations, to understand political, economic and social issues.
- Working under stressful conditions: Interpreters work in a stressful environment, under pressure of time and responsibility.
- Knowledge of cultural characteristics: It is important to take into account the cultural context and avoid misunderstandings.
Interpreters from Russian to English and vice versa worked at the Samara Interregional Model of the United Nations. They provided communication in the work of the United Nations General Assembly.
