On April 26, 2025, the VII Regional Scientific and Practical Conference “SamAstro-2024” for students of general education programs and college students was held at Samara University. The conference was organized by the Samara University Planetarium. The goal of the conference was to promote astronomy and astronautics and to engage young people in astronomical and aerospace knowledge. The conference took the form of a competition of creative and research projects in four categories: astronomy, aviation and astronautics, popular science video film and astrophotography, and science fiction text.
