Samara University named after Academician S. P. Korolev became the venue for the IX Volga HR Forum titled “Employee Retention. Effective Tools and Practices 2025”. The forum was organized by the Center for Investment Attraction and Innovation Project Support of Samara University in collaboration with the Regional Public Organization “Samara HR Club,” became an arena for a meeting of leading HR management experts at the federal and regional level. Here, in an atmosphere of lively exchange of experience, pressing issues were discussed and new strategies for managing human capital were developed. 

Vice-Rector V. V. Bolgova and Acting Deputy Minister – Head of the Department for Human Resource Development of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara Region, Y.G. Brener, opened the event with welcoming remarks, setting a tone of constructive conversation.

During the plenary session, leading experts gave insightful presentations. Irina Anatolyevna Loginova, Director of the Center for Investment Attraction and Innovation Project Support at Samara University, presented strong arguments for the role of additional professional education and vocational training as key factors in retaining valuable employees. Alina Sergeyevna Ivanova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Distance Education of the National Research Tomsk State University, represented university partners and federal operator of the federal project “Active Measures to Promote Employment” within the national program “Human Resources.” She highlighted the potential of further education programs in building a solid HR strategy.

A particular highlight was the panel discussion “Retention Practices That Work,” where speakers including Elena Petrikhina (ASTech/SCC), Daria Vasyakina (NPK “Magenta Development”), Elena Shebashova (SIBINTEK Investment Company), and Natalya Ilyina (PSB Bank) shared invaluable insights and successful case studies from their professional practice.

The interactive event activity “Energy Beat! Let’s Engage and Retain Everyone,” organized by ArtPiknik, added a fresh touch of energy and variety to the dynamic forum program. 

The forum continued in the section format, providing participants with opportunities to dive deeper into the most pressing issues, ask questions, and share their own experiences. The IX Volga HR Forum once again confirmed its well-deserved status as an important platform for professional dialogue, best practice exchange, and the development of effective strategies in the vital and challenging field of human resource management.
