On 27th of March 2025, UNITIS participants discussed the future of Greenland in the context of international relations.
In the session, students identified the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to Greenland’s status, including the possibility of integration with the United States, co-operation with the European Union and independence scenarios.
In addition, participants analysed the impact of the chosen course on Greenland’s economic, social and political stability, as well as on its relations with key global players.
It is pleasant to note that new participants took part in the discussion, which shows the growing interest in the Discussion Club’s activities and the topics discussed!
Special thanks should be given to our expert – Associate Professor of the Department of General History, International Relations and Documentary Studies Alexander Okun, who made an invaluable contribution to the discussion!
We look forward to seeing everyone at the forthcoming meetings of the club!
