On November 25, 2024, a large-scale regional forum on the prevention of extremism based on national and religious grounds began in the Samara Region. The forum is dedicated to preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values!

The event was opened with welcoming speeches by Mikhail Mikhailovich Leonov, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Youth Policy at Samara University, and Sergey Anatolyevich Reshetov, Advisor to the Governor of the Samara Region and Chairman of the Anti-Terrorism Commission.

The organizers of the forum include: the Government of the Samara Region, Samara University, the House of Peoples’ Friendship of the Samara Region, the Coordination Center, and the Yevgeny M. Primakov Center (Samara).

️The goal of the forum is to shape and promote the image of Russia as a global center for the preservation of traditional values and the protection of the rights of believers.

During the discussions, key topics were addressed:
• Current destructive movements and methods of recruiting youth into them;
• Psychological knowledge as a tool for countering extremism;
• The organization of protest movements: how to avoid becoming a victim of external influence;
• The role of spiritual and moral education in harmonizing interethnic and interfaith relations and preventing extremist manifestations based on national and religious grounds.

The forum has become a significant event contributing to the strengthening of traditional values and the formation of a positive image of Russia in the world.
