On May 25, the first meeting of the Chinese Club “SinoClub” took place at the Regional Centre for the Development of Public Diplomacy and International Relations, The Primakov Centre. Participants were introduced to Chinese writing and phonetics, tried their hand at pronunciation and writing of Chinese characters, as well as recognizing their meanings.

«SinoClub» is a place where everyone can become more familiar with the Chinese language and culture.

The main goal of the club is to create a platform for active exchange of knowledge and experience, finding like-minded people, and fostering the development of Sinology.

Participants of SinoClub will study the rich and ancient culture of China, its art, traditions, and national characteristics, and will interact with Russian and international Sinology experts, colleagues from other Chinese clubs in different cities.

The club is open to young people, students and schoolchildren, teachers, and anyone interested in Chinese culture, regardless of their language experience.

«SinoClub» will begin its regular work in September 2021. It will operate at the Regional Center for the Development of Public Diplomacy and International Relations, The Primakov Centre. (Samara University, Samara, Akademika Pavlova Street 1) The theme of the next meeting will be announced later. We invite everyone interested in the history, culture, language, and traditions of China!
