On November 14, 2024, another event of the IberAClub took place. This time, it was dedicated to the culture of Spain. We immersed ourselves in the amazing world of the land of bullfighting and flamenco. Elizaveta Morozova shared insights about the image of a typical Spaniard. It turned out that Spaniards are a friendly people with a great sense of humor. Samira Ergashova touched upon the religious aspect in her presentation. We learned how Christianity, Islam, and Judaism have influenced Spanish culture. On November 12, 2024, the XXII All-Russian Youth Competition-Conference on Optics, Laser Physics, and Plasma Physics commenced at Samara National Research University named after Academician S.P. Korolev. The conference events will continue until November 16th and will be held at the facilities of its organizers – Korolev Samara University and the Samara Branch of the P.N. Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FIAN). On November 7, 2024, we watched “Forrest Gump” by Robert Zemeckis. During the meeting, participants discussed the key themes of the film, the characters and their motivations, and shared their personal interpretations. Special attention was given to analyzing the impact of historical events on the fate of the main character.
