At Samara University named after Korolev. Students at Korolev University participate in the federal project “Service Learning”. In 2023, 209 of our students, under the guidance of specialists from the Department of Social Work Theory and Technology, together with Samara NGOs, were able to implement 11 socially significant projects. These initiatives dealt with such important topics as helping the homeless, supporting orphans and working with people with disabilities. The project develops professional skills and empathy. And from next year, it will cover students from all institutes, which means that students will be able to improve their teamwork and leadership skills.

Прошло первое в этом году заседание TurkishClub, которое было посвящено работе клуба! Участники познакомились с творческой стороной клуба. Они посмотрели сериал «Kalbimi erit», который сняли сегодняшние старшекурсники Самарского университета, когда они еще только начинали изучать турецкий язык! Студенты посмотрели как проходят разговорные уроки с носителем языка. Они убедились, насколько эффективно изучение языка с носителем, ведь это отличный способ преодолеть психологический барьер и научиться свободно говорить. The E.M. Primakov Centre launched the advanced training course “Foreign Regional Studies. American continent”. The students were addressed by the Head of the Department of Domestic Political Studies of the G.A. Arbatov Institute of the USA and Canada, Mr. RAS Arbatov. Dmitry Vorobyev, Candidate of Historical Sciences, PhD in Political Studies at the Arbatov Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke about social and cultural processes in the countries of North America. On September 13, IberAClub hosted an exciting event – a guitar evening on the banks of the Volga. Guests were welcomed by guitar melodies from Nikita Pokazeev and Rodion Kulygin, who created a cozy atmosphere. Each of us was able to enjoy a good performance of famous songs. On September 5, SinoClub hosted a meeting dedicated to Neptune’s Day!  Participants learned a lot of interesting things about this holiday, its traditions, and also had the opportunity to meet Neptune’s entourage and put on a bright makeup! Andrei Petryakov, director of films about Samara, was a guest of the freshmen journalists and the Primakov Center.
